Whats Up! is a premium Android AR astronomy app (package com.whatsup.stargaze). You point your phone at the sky and it identifies and overlays stars, planets, satellites, and deep-sky objects in real time.

Core idea: a live camera AR sky view with OpenGL overlays, driven by sensor fusion (rotation vector) plus GPS, so celestial objects stay aligned to where you're actually pointing.

Key features:

Live CameraX AR view (or a star-map mode with a black sky)
Offline star / Messier / constellation catalogues and local planetary ephemeris (Sun, Moon, Mercury–Neptune)
Find Object navigation with angular guidance to point you at a target
Satellite tracking (CelesTrak TLEs + SGP4-lite: ISS, Starlink, etc.) and optional aircraft (OpenSky)
Extras: meteor shower mode, time travel, night vision, planner/visibility alerts, discovery mode, achievements, photo mode
Star-pattern calibration to correct compass bias, plus the HUD tap SFX and "Stabilise sensors" control added recently
Tech stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, Hilt DI, multi-module architecture (core, data, domain, feature/*, rendering). Min SDK 26, target SDK 35.

It's built to work offline for the core experience, with internet only needed for optional TLE/aircraft refreshes.
